About

Namazu is a mobile software development studio specializing in entertainment software. We’re a young company based in San Diego, CA.

Our team is comprised of motivated engineers, artists, and designers with vision and determination to innovate in our field.

Our name comes from Namazu, the Japanese mythological catfish. The myth says that Namazu lives beneath the earth, restrained by the god Kashima. When Kashima is distracted, Namazu thrashes, causing earthquakes. Like our namesake, we like to shake things up.
